Dutton Recruitment are currently looking to fill roles within the Local Authority for Customer Service Representatives for work in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

The post holder will work in a team within Customer Services delivering an efficient and effective customer service whilst maintaining high standards of customer care.

Key Duties/Areas of Responsibility

  • Deals with customer enquiries in person, by telephone, by email, text and other electronic means
  • Provide access to accurate information on all services of the Council and its partner services
  • Complete forms, applications and correspondence on behalf of customers and advise on eligibility for services
  • Use appropriate IT systems to support and broaden the scope of information provided by the Council
  • Handle and reconcile cash in accordance with agreed procedures
  • Provide information and advice to customers in the most appropriate format to meet their needs
  • Undertake customer service duties throughout the service as required
  • Carry out general administrative duties as required

This post is a temporary assignment and is due to finish at the end of January, however for the right candidate this will be extended to the end of March 2019.
