A well respected and established business employer in Newport, are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to provide proactive and high-level support to two Directors. This is an exciting, dynamic and rewarding role and the chance to join a company which promotes a supportive and diverse culture.

As a Personal Assistant, you will take full responsibility for meeting office deadlines, enhancing the executive's effectiveness and represent them well both internally and externally. You will be someone who supports and promotes change and acts proactively always, showing a flexible approach to meet deadlines. The salary on offer is between £24,000 to £28,000 DOE and you must be able to pass a credit check due to the nature of the company.

What are we looking for in a Personal Assistant?

  • Previous experience is essential with a desire to work in an Executive Assistant role
  • Someone who shows a flexible approach to the work, using their initiative and discretion at all times
  • Strong communication, time management and planning skills with the proven ability to multitask and prioritise your own work load
  • A resilient and efficient gate keeper, displaying a confident and professional service to internal and external customers

As a Personal Assistant, what will your day to day look like?

  • Supporting the Directors to proactively make them aware of their deadlines and daily activities, whilst enhancing their profile
  • Work individually and part of a team, to ensure actions are completed and work towards personal growth and development
  • Arrange travel and accommodation and complete all expenses in line with the policy and budgetary requirements
  • Effective diary management, organisation of meetings, distribution of all relevant documents and taking minutes in a timely manner
  • Keeping an up to date understanding of the Directors whereabouts and filter calls and respond to enquiries on their behalf
  • Travel all around the UK with the Directors
